SHANNON's earlier Achievements
In September 2017 Shannon was selected to perform a solo at the Royal Albert Hall which was an amazing experience for her, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and she was lucky enough to be selected again in 2018.
In 2019, Shannon entered Factor Essex and she took 3rd place in the final.
During 2019 Shannon also sang for various charity events, some including the Essex Soundbite SEN festival, Time to Prevent Knife Crime Event, Lifstan Way Care Home fundraiser and Collier Row Carnival (after which she was presented a medal by the Mayor). She spent her time gigging at various places, entertaining people and gaining experience too. She worked with Elite Fusion to develop herself as an artist. In November of that year, she performed at a fireworks event in Essex for them to an audience of 10,000 people.
In 2020, Shannon was nominated for the South East Essex Choice Award, and upon performing at the awards in January that year, she found out on the night that she had won the Award. As we moved into Lockdown, Shannon worked on her original songwriting material and completed over an album's worth of original material. She spent a lot of time promoting herself online by posting regularly and recording covers. Shannon went on to win the TruLittle Hero Musician Award, which celebrates the achievements and resilience of young people.
In 2021 Shannon was invited to be a guest on ALBUK TV. She was interviewed by TV Broadcaster, lan Tuner, President of ALBUK TV, former Royal Commentator and Royal Photographer and Consultant to the Head of SKY TV.
Additionally, in 2021 Shannon was hospitalized with covid pneumonia. Once out of hospital she took several months to recover and several months of hard work to regain and strengthen her voice. In that same year she focused her time on study at college. She studied A-Levels in Psychology, Criminology and Human Biology.
As 2022 came around, Shannon completed and passed her A levels. She got back out gigging at music events, continued writing songs and recorded her first original single.
